Life Coaching

Coaches work with students who are generally functioning well in college life, and are able to identify an area of their life in which they would like to enhance, improve, or grow. The focus in coaching is on the present and future with an emphasis on action steps to achieve success. The focus is not to address the impact of past events or to treat personal problems or symptoms. Coaching primarily helps students to strive for and achieve specific personal goals. One way of thinking about life coaching is that it helps you to move from functioning normally to functioning at your best and to thrive in life. This is done by encouraging the development of your strengths, well-being, goals, and healthy habits.

Students may receive individual coaching or participate in a 6 week life coaching workshop.
