Faculty, staff, parents, friends, and other concerned individuals can consult with the Counselor On-Duty if they believe a student is in distress and they are uncertain how to help.
If you have concerns about a student’s emotional well-being or behavioral changes and are unsure of how to discuss your concerns with the student or you have discussed your concerns with the student and they are unwilling to seek professional help, we encourage you to consult with one of our clinicians.
If you (or a friend) are experiencing distress and need someone to talk with in the middle of the night or on the weekend, they can call the Counseling Center’s main number (407-823-2811), press #5 and they will be immediately connected to a licensed therapist.
